Payment Terms
Payments: To begin work on your custom order or project, we kindly request a 50% deposit of the total order value. This deposit confirms your commitment, allowing Artisan Merchandising to start immediately on your project. An additional 30% will be required fourteen working days before we dispatch your goods. The final 20% is due just two days prior to dispatch. Kindly note that for a smooth process, full payment must be received before releasing your products. Late Payment Terms: Buyers are expected to make payments promptly as outlined in the sale agreement. If payments are late:
Additionally, please note that late payments will result in the loss of a 2% discount typically granted for early payments, which relies on timely payments according to the invoice terms.
Moreover, in compliance with Turkish export regulations, the final invoice must be issued by Artisan Merchandising at least two days before the export date. Timely payment is essential to facilitate invoicing and meet regulatory requirements. Artisan Merchandising is obligated to issue the final invoice only after receiving full payment. This standard procedure ensures accurate payment status updates and compliance with accounting practices.
It is crucial to adhere to the payment schedule outlined in the invoice to avoid penalties or forfeiture of prompt payment discounts. Non-compliance may result in further actions to recover the outstanding balance.
Ownership of Goods: Title to the goods will remain with Artisan Merchandising/Manufacturer until full payment is received. Ownership of the products will transfer to the customer upon full payment.
Payment Methods: Accepted methods include bank transfer or any other payment option specified in the offer (Proforma Invoice). Customers are responsible for any bank or transaction fees associated with their chosen payment method.
Currency: All payments must be made in the currency specified in the offer (Proforma Invoice). Any currency conversion fees or exchange rate fluctuations are the customer’s responsibility.
Dispute Resolution: In case of a payment dispute, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter amicably. If unresolved, the dispute shall be referred to mediation or arbitration under Turkish law.
By engaging with Artisan Merchandising, customers agree to abide by these payment terms. Failure to comply may result in termination of the contract and legal action for debt recovery.
Refund Policy
Refunds for custom-made goods are not possible, as these products are tailored to each customer’s specifications. Thus, they cannot be returned for a refund.
Customization Process: Customers are involved throughout the customization process, providing specifications, designs, and other requirements. Artisan Merchandising strives to meet these needs to ensure the final product aligns with expectations.
Approval Process: Customers have opportunities to review and approve designs, samples, and prototypes before production begins. Modifications are welcome to ensure satisfaction with the final product.
Quality Assurance: Stringent quality control measures are in place to ensure custom-made goods meet high standards. Products undergo inspection before shipment to verify compliance with customer specifications.
Non-Standard Returns: In rare cases of defects or discrepancies, customers should contact Artisan Merchandising on the day of product arrival to resolve the issue. Depending on the situation, repair, replacement, or compensation may be offered at Artisan’s discretion.
Limitation of Liability: Artisan Merchandising is not liable for dissatisfaction if the final product matches the approved specifications. Customers are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of their customization requests; refunds will not be provided for changes of mind or aesthetic preferences.
By engaging in custom orders, customers acknowledge the limitations of bespoke production and agree to these refund terms.
Customer Representation and Responsibility
Collaborative Partnership: The relationship between Artisan Merchandising and its customers is collaborative. Customers benefit from the expertise and resources Artisan offers, working together toward mutual success.
Liability Exclusion: Artisan Merchandising takes care in overseeing product development and export but assumes no liability for third-party actions, including manufacturers, suppliers, logistics, and customs.
Quality Assurance: Stringent quality controls are maintained throughout the process. However, unforeseen circumstances may impact product outcomes.
Inspection Requirements: Customers are required to inspect products during development, production, and delivery stages. Products must be assessed in the manufacturing facility in the presence of management, with oral approval and full payment confirming acceptance. Any issues upon delivery must be reported in writing to the carrier on the day of arrival. Failure to do so voids legal claims and guarantees, including those against Artisan Merchandising.
Non-Refundable Terms: Custom products or payments for custom orders are non-refundable.
Transparency and Communication: Open communication is key. Customers receive updates via email or WhatsApp at every production stage, ensuring timely decisions.
Risk Mitigation: While Artisan Merchandising strives to minimize risks, certain factors are inherent in international business, such as exchange rate fluctuations, geopolitical changes, and regulatory updates. Artisan works with customers to proactively address and mitigate these risks.
Legal Compliance: Artisan Merchandising adheres to all laws and regulations related to product development, export, and trade. Clients can trust that their projects are managed with integrity and legal compliance.
